OPAP S.A., in accordance with article 4.1.3.1. οf the ATHEX regulation, informs the investment community that the tax audit for fiscal year 2010 has been concluded.
The tax audit resulted to incremental taxes amounting €29.618m . From the above amount, €8.0m was recorded in the results of fiscal year 2010, while the remaining balance of €21.618m will be reported at Q2 2014 financial results.
The Company has already exercised its right and has appealed to be competent directorate of the Ministry of Finance paying at the same time 50% of the total amount of additional taxes and surcharges imposed. It believes that it has strong arguments to be justified before the above directorate thus significantly reducing the total amount of total taxes and surcharges.
